If you attempt to load an FSVIEW formula catalog created in SAS 8.2 into SAS 9.2, you could receive one or both of the following errors:
ERROR: Read Access Violation in Task [ FSVIEW ] Exception occured at (6699001E) Task Traceback Address Frame (DBGHELP API Version 4.0 rev 5) 6699001E 0767EB50 sasyoio:mcn_main+0x4F01E 66967E95 0767EB70 sasyoio:mcn_main+0x26E95 4A38095D 0767F8E0 sasfpp:mcn_main+F95D 4A37F07E 0767F960 sasfpp:mcn_main+E07E
and
ERROR: Unable to load format DD10. for variable NTRE
The problem is caused by a change in the internal structure for the data within FSVIEW to allow for a larger number of records to be processed.
You can circumvent this problem by using PROC CPORT and PROC CIMPORT to convert the 8.2 formula catalog into a 9.2 catalog.
